Here are some of my favorite images and videos. I created these myself while learning how to use Blender and how to create objects from primitives.
A spherical mirror placed on the back wall reflecting the back side of the objects seen from the front. A mirror can be created by setting the material properties as follows: Metalic = 1.0 Roughness = 0.0.
A playground scene I created, complete with four children. The swings, merry-go-round, and teeter-totter can be moved for realistic animations.
This can serve as a template to create a building with many floors. Copy it, modify it as desired, and then place it on the building. Additional templates can be saved which include wall layouts, common areas, or other items.
A snowman, igloo, and some trees.
A simulation of marbles being dropped onto a series of angled shelves. The animation is done purely with the Blender using Physics properties.
One of my first true movie simulations. Using low quality objects, the camera rotates to track the small plane as it flys through the city.
A Piano plays a tune. The piano is of realistic size. Each key can easily be animated, either with GUI tools or by scripting. I created a short tune for this project. I built a script that translates music code (octave, note, and duration) into the appropriate key, so I can just enter in the data directly from sheet music.
Wagon, bucket, and hay. Although it is a short and simple animation, it includes most principals of basic animation using Blender. This would be a good scene to base a tutorial on.
USA flag in the wind. Shows how a cloth object can react using Blender wind force physics property.
A funny animation where the Easter Eggs decide to not wait for the Easter Bunny. So they go hide themselves!
